04How To Capture Zapdos

If you couldn’t understand my short notes for how to get Zapdos don’t worry because now I’m going to fully tell you what I meant!
Introduction: Zapdos is a cool and dangerous Pokemon which appears to be a lengendary Pokemon. Adding this to your Poke’dex on your Pokemon Red, Blue or Yellow can help you to get the rare and mysterious Mew!
Make sure you have (Mewtwo), about 10 Ultra Balls and Surf.
Let’s begin…
1. Head to the north part of Rock Tunnel (where the lonely Pokemon Center is) head north to find some water.
2. Surf east then south then west and finally north though the water for land and a trainer who appears to own all the Pokemon inside the Power Plant including Zapdos.
3. Head inside the Power Plant get all the goodies beware of the Voltorb and Electrode traps find the way through the maze and you’ll eventually find a legendary Lv. 50 Zapdos!
Tip: Zapdos is a real tough one to capture try to make it fall asleep and don’t make it’s HP go too a low red point!
Tip: Capture Mewtwo first before trying to catch Zapdos. Use it’s Psychic attack which should almost
defeat Zapdos then throw some Ultra Balls.
Hint: Save before battling Zapdos in case you screw up!
I actually used Zapdos to catch Mewtwo
All i did was that my snorlax and kept resting and hardening him and and after a while i switched in graveler and used rock throw and tackle until he fainted and switched in back snorlax and threw 2 ultra balls and cought it
i forgot o say that i used poliwhirl’s hypnosis
Omg i cant capture zapdos ! i use snorlax’s yawn to put zapdos asleep then get his hp pretty low with Charizard then throw about 15 ultraballs at it and still cant catch it! i also tried paralyzing him with my pikachu but it didnt work, and now i’ve prob tried this 13 times
any tips guys?

James I was having the same problem but it’s because you’re not supposed to be able to catch Zapdos until later in the game. Try to forget about this guy for a while and come back later… i think after you go to the 7th gym because u can catch articuno then so i would say u can get zapdos but im not for sure..
ive caught articuno but cant catch zaptos or the fire legendary pokemon all it seems to say is the pokeball missed the pokemon how do i solve this
There are a couple things you have to do. First, get Zapdos down to a low level of health, but not in the red. A little less than half but still in the yellow is good. Then put him to sleep with a sleep attack. Then just use ultra balls until you get him. I’m not saying this will work every time but it does work.
Note: Make sure you save just before you fight Zapdos and restart without saving if you lose.
hey thx 4 da help! i finnally got a zappdos. but den my game stopped workin so every time i turn it on again, i have 2 start a new game

i used a frikkin Blastoise and a Rhyhorn and about 6 ultra balls. I must be lucky! Body slammed it, it got paralysed, got it to yellow, it blitzed my blastoise obviously. Gt rhyhorn out n zapdos had nothing it could use to hurt it. Threw 6 ultra balls screamed and saved

So I have beaten all 8 gyms and gotten him as low as he can go without bein in the red and thrown ultra balls and they still always miss. What am I doing wrong?
it keeps saying i missed the pokemon….
i body slammed him with my level 42 charizard and he was paralyzed straight away. then i got his health down to about a sixth and on my 3rd throw of an ultra ball i caught him. buzzin
