 So you want to know how to capture a Lati in Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire And Emerald right? Well first make sure you are patient with things in you  because this may take a few minutes or even hours. And don’t forget to beat the Elite Four!

If So Let’s Begin The Quest To Get A Lati…

1. After you’ve the Elite Four you’ll return to your home.  Head downstairs and watch television to hear sightings of Pokemon flying all over Hoenn.  If it’s blue it’s Latios and if it’s red it’s Latias!

 2. (Now here’s the hard part) search around places where you can find wild Pokemon (except the Safari Zone and Victory Road) and eventually you’ll find Latios/Latias (It’ll be the 1st – 5th Pokemon you’ll encounter in a place!)

3. It’s battle time and you’ll find them Lv. 40 on Ruby and Sapphire, (not sure about Emerald) get ready because the first thing they’ll try to do is flee and if they get away you’ll have to search for them again!

4. If you don’t have a Pokemon with the ability that makes a Pokemon not have the ability to flee then send out a Pokemon that can Paralyze, Sleep, Poison or Confuse a Pokemon and use it on the Lati Pokemon.

Tips: Let the Lati escape at first.  It’ll be on your Pokedex so you can track it down.
On your Poke’dex don’t go to the area the Lati is in go to the area near it!

Hints: Use a Fast Ball or Ultra Ball to capture the Lati if you can’t stop it from escaping. Then use the “Press A Repeatedly Trick” to stop it from breaking out.
