Important Note:
Only the Master Ball can capture Mewtwo because of it's ability of never
missing, the other Balls will miss because Mewtwo has good dodging
skills.
POKEMON YELLOW
Mewtwo can be found in the Unknown
Dungeon, It's quite hard to catch because of its likeliness of
dodging balls. The Unknown Dungeon is
located at Cerulean City where you fight Misty. A boys guarding
it...so you have to defeat the Elite Four
at the Indigo . Entered inside you'll find Stunning
Mazes, Excellent Items and Hidden Traps. I recommend you save
before entering and have a Master Ball with you! When reaching
the end you'll see a Pokemon...it's Mewtwo talk to it to
start the battle. Before attacking immediately use the Master Ball
to add a Rare Pokemon to the Poke'dex!

- Rainbow Cloud, Items Required - Pester Balls
Once you're photographed all six secret Pokemon signs, Prof. Oak will
give you access to this final special
area. There's only one Pokemon to take pictures of here...but getting a
good shot takes a lot of practice...! Being the Magical and Mystical
Pokemon that it is, Mew doesn't like posing for the camera.

POKEMON SNAP
(!!UNLOCKED!!) Stage 7
- Rainbow Cloud, Items Required - Pester Balls
Once you're photographed all six secret Pokemon signs, Prof. Oak will
give you access to this final special
area. There's only one Pokemon to take pictures of here...but getting a
good shot takes a lot of practice...! Being the Magical and Mystical
Pokemon that it is, Mew doesn't like posing for the camera. Therefore it
will do anything it can to stop you from getting him on film!
Considering there are three stages for snapping Mew but it can be
hard...don't give up! (Visit the Six Secret Signs Here
Coming Soon)
STAGE 1
Nothing too tough here - just watch carefully as Mew bobs
back and forth in that magical bubble, then throw a Pester Ball at it to
cause some grief. Land three successful hits to advance to Stage
2...
STAGE 2
Mew changes position now and begins to fly towards you really quickly -
you have to aim carefully and again smack the bubble three times with
Pester Balls to go to the Final Stage!
STAGE 3
Now that it's out of that bubble, you finally have a chance for a
picture. Watch carefully as Mew flies past you from behind, chasing the
bubble - now, quickly aim and launch a Pester Ball towards it so that
you can stun it for a few seconds. Keep pounding Mew with Pester Balls
until you're close enough for a good shot of the Rare and Mystical
Pokemon...if it makes it back to the bubble, you'll have to get it out
again before another photo opportunity comes up. Happy

POKEMON YELLOW
The easiest way is to get 150 Pokemon
(By trading with the Red and Blue versions) after doing that go
to the Celadon Mansion, (don't enter by the back) Go up to
the stairs to the third floor talk to the guy who is not on a computer
and he'll give you a Mew. Ahh A Rare species!
